Greg Salsbury laid the foundation for his leadership of Western Colorado University with a doctorate in organizational communication from the University of Southern California, a master of arts in communication management from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, and a master of arts in communication from the University of Illinois. He also holds a dual bachelor of science in speech communication and psychology from Southern Illinois University. Over the course of his career, Mr. Salsbury has taught business and communications courses at multiple colleges and universities. He has also served as an independent consultant with Salsbury Communications, and was executive vice president with the Jackson National Life Insurance Company. Also a writer, Mr. Salsbury has authored more than a dozen articles and two books – Retirementology: Rethinking the American Dream in a New Economy and But What If I Live? The American Retirement Crisis. His achievements as an author include a top ranking on the Personal Finance list at Amazon.
